My Favorite Animated Movies

Cartoons have come a long way. From 2D to 3D, these cartoons have made it from the tube to the big screen. As a 20 something adult, I have had my share of cartoon watching. Even now, I still enjoy watching them because they are oh so fun! Allow me to share some of my favorite animated cartoon movies.

Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs

This is a very funny and appetizing movie. I was so excited for this and it did not disappoint. I re-watch it from time to time because it’s that entertaining.

Up

The most-touching yet adventurous animated movie for me. It told a great love story in what, like 5 minutes? That part made me happy and sad at the same time. I cried. The part where he found the latter part of the scrapbook made me happy and sad, too!

Despicable Me

Thanks to the minions and Agnes, this movie has captured the favor of many including mine. Gru can be funny at times, too.

Tangled

It’s a very nice film that inspired me to pursue my dreams and live my life without having to be pressured or held back by parents.

R.I.P. Paul Walker

The recent passing of Paul Walker, the famous actor who served as the main hero for the movie franchise Fast and Furious, has ended his time on this world in a fast and furious way indeed. The tragic car accident occurred last November 30, 2013 while he was seated as passenger in a red Porsche Carerra GT car driven by his bestfriend, Roger Rodas. The car hit a tree and burst into flames.

Many mourn over the death of these two men including this blogger. Here is the video tribute for Paul Walker.

Other stories came up from this sad news like 2 guys stealing some of the car parts from the wreckage and Tila Tequila claiming that Paul was murdered.

Demi Lovato – An Impressive Artist

At this age of twerking and barely there clothing, it seems that more and more young people are joining in on this new kind of trend. Let them for they are young. But where should the line be drawn? It’s hard to state an opinion these days because of online bashing and clashing of thoughts and points of view.

Hate me if you want but all I’m saying is that it’s so easy to give in to the new kind of trend just to get attention. But I would have to say that I’m happy for there are those who remain reserved and stay classy; those who do not to show their butt to get the attention of people.

I was never a fan of Disney artists. But Demi Lovato has grown up into a lovely and no non-sense woman that I am very impressed. Listening to her latest songs also allowed me to realize what an impressive singer she is. Her powerful vocals can send goosebumps. Watch her videos and you’ll see how captivating they are without having to be naked on a big ball of metal.

Tron-Inspired Technology

If you have not heard of Tron then you might be living under a rock. The 80s sci-fi flick was recently remade in 2010 under the title Tron: Legacy. With the computer animation and technology far better now than in the 80s, it was only just to have a remake of the film. And because of the cool futuristic concepts and design of Tron, many were inspired from it.

One example of being inspired from Tron is the Tron Keyboard and Mouse from Razer. Apart from the cool design and cool brand, the keyboard and mouse have also cool features. It’s not just aesthetics folks.

Another example of being inspired from Tron is the iLuminate dance group from the TV show America’s Got Talent. The dance crew performed wearing Tron-inspired clothing during their Tron-inspired performance. So what happens when talent, creativity, and technology are mixed together? One epic performance ensues.

Another example of a Tron-inspired product is the LED watch from Tokyoflash Japan. It is a neat and simple design that exudes cyber chic, making techie peeps and Tron fans wanting one for their own.

Instead of a product, a place was inspired by Tron. This place is the theme room from the Ice Hotel in Sweden. It is LITERALLY cool.

The New iPad Air

Yes, Apple has released another product for its tablet line – the iPad Air. Apple fans have another product to salivate on as the computer company unveiled it recently and is said to be available for purchase on November 1.

Introduced to have “The Power of Lightness” with the name “Air” on it, it is a dead giveaway that the tablet device is designed to be really light compared to its predecessors. The iPad Air is 7.5 millimeters thin and weights just one pound. Victoria Secret models would surely envy this slim beauty.

The new A7 chip (first featured in the recently launched iPhone 5S) is also equipped in the iPad Air. Apart from that, two antennas are added to let users connect quickly easily.

Here’s a first from Apple, the Air includes a case that serves more than just as a protection for the device. The Smart Cover and Smart Case will automatically wake the device or put it to sleep once opened and once closed. It also folds to serve as a stand for reading, viewing, and typing. They come in many colors, too.

Destination in Focus: Maldives

I am not a big beach fan. I rarely crave for the beach although the beach or pool is what I always think about when someone mentions “vacation”. I do enjoy going to the beach from time to time. The warm breeze, soothing sound of waves, and relaxing sunny scenery can be very therapeutic especially for a busy city girl like me.

I have been to Boracay, Cebu, and of course, Batangas beaches. The Philippines have lots of gorgeous beaches but for me, the ultimate beach getaway would be Maldives. Why? Here are some videos that would make it very much self-explanatory.
